Training Info

Welcome
We're excited about the growth in Adult Training opportunities, and we hope you are too. We can't encourage you enough to attend the available trainings that interest you. Take advantage of the information, networking, and materials.

Registering for Courses
The deadline for registering for a course is five days prior to the first date the course is held. Simply contact the Service Center: give us your name, troop number, service area and an address and phone number so we may contact you with confirmation details and notify you of any changes that may occur.

All courses must have a minimum of six (6) people registered to be conducted. It is very important to register in advance, so that the trainers will be able to prepare supplies and resources for everyone attending. Also, you will only be notified of locations and changes by pre-registering.

In the event of a course being cancelled, every effort will be made to reschedule the course at a later time. If we are unable to do so, any costs for the course will be refunded to you. If for any reason you have to cancel your reservation for a course, full refund for the course will be available for cancellations made three days or more before the course.

What to Bring
All of our courses offered are in the evening or on a weekend, so please dress comfortably. We do not always have control over the climate so please dress accordingly to your own comfort level. It is a good idea to bring a pad of paper and a pen or pencil to every training. For the Welcome to Girl Scouts and BLT II - Brownie trainings, it is required to bring your troop kits (or resource books and leader's guide). For an all-day training, it is a good idea to bring a lunch with you.

For the outdoor courses you will receive a confirmation letter detailing what you will need to bring with you.
